Siemens, one of the world’s leading engineering and technology companies, has announced the appointment of Dr Bertram Ehmann as Head of Energy for Siemens Ltd (Australia and New Zealand).
Dr Ehmann is regarded as a Siemens energy expert and will work closely with longstanding Vice Presidents Mr Steve Robinson and Mr David Pryke to innovate and to deliver sustainable solutions across the entire energy conversion chain.
Siemens Ltd Chairman and Managing Director Mr Albert Goller said Dr Ehmann’s extensive industry knowledge and experience would prove invaluable to Siemens Ltd. “Bertram has a wealth of experience in the energy industry gained over a period of 16 years, and for the last 10 years, he has been leading global businesses with great success, including the global Siemens Transformers Group,” Mr Goller said.
“He served as President of the European Power Industry Association, COTREL, and worked for ABB, Switzerland, and Cooper Industries, USA. Bertram holds a doctorate in Industrial Engineering and he is a highly recognised, international Siemens expert on energy.”
